There is one thing that elicits the most euphoric passions ever in history and that is the game what is it? you might ask im talking about the game of football it has taken the centre stage in the sports world invented in england in the early 18th century the game gained significance and importance around the first world war and from then on it has changed the way we feel about sport forever never have i seen so much passion en-fused into 90 minutes of fast pace often grueling and hot scenes each moment a perfect symphony until the last moment where the ball is put into the net and a thunderous applause and praise is heard that will rival the very harems of olympus the game as it stands today is the most watched having a galloping 2.3 billion viewers as of current records and everyday it just gets better and what could be more exciting than the footballers themselves in football the chief edifices and most coveted mantle pieces have always been 1. the world cup 2. the champions leagues 3. the supercup these three things have defined the very root of rivalry in the olden days when the rules did not apply these men lost their lives as of carlos requida escobar a colombian who scored an own goal in the world cup finals that made them lose he was assassinated in the field it was because of these that bodies were now formed to put sanity back into the game now let us delve into the leagues the leagues are each set in the home continent and a country and continental cup is usually vied for but in the whole of the game's scope the english league has thrilled fans because of the high profile players, the money the fame the passion the fans the publicity in the game one wrong move you make that amounts to a loss or a draw the english league is crowned by 4 teams Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal but as the game has preceded additional teams have also caught the attention Tottenham, Everton, Manchester city in the other leagues names like Barcelona, Real madrid, A.C milan, Inter milan etc. the game has transcended from what it was years ago as the business it makes is very profitable so the next time you are in your zone take a cold beer sit back relax and enjoy the game in high definition.

MEDICALLY SICK: THE PLIGHT OF NIGERIA'S HEALTH

Last saturday witnessed the passing away of human right activist ,lawyer and philantrophist Gani Fawhenmi   this came as a shock to many another jewel lost in the sea of mud in this country the man stood for everything the masses wanted and always kept to himself humble and respected and loved when questions where dropped to find out the cause of his death it was learned that for sometime he had suffered from heart problems and unbeknownst to the doctors cancer was at the loom and secretly consumed him it was after it had reached the chronic stage that it was discovered already too late for anything to be done about it and now he has gone to the lord this is just one of the many alarming and rising cases we see in nigeria the increase of cancer in the population has never been this high and the bad and saddest part of the saga is that we can only boast of 4 cancer health centres with the right tools to treat or diagnose this illness can you imagine four!!!! out of over one hundred and eighty million individuals how in the world can they manage this statistically it is impossible the cases been recorded in this centres ZARIA,LAGOS,ABUJA AND IBADAN is on the rise the funniest thing about this is that the ministryb of health has not said a word about this it had to take the death of a prominent man to make us realize the dangers of this and if we dont act fast then im afraid that all hell will break loose for you to understand this disease we shall tell you on how you can help prevent it as we all know or heard cancer is usually a genetic related illness and as such is usually treated with ignorance but estimates put it that after A.I.D.S,MALARIA it is the third largest killer consuming a whoping 190 million lives yearly coupled with the fact that another 200 million are undergoing treatment and about 300 million more dont even know they have this disease this is really alarming and recent experiments have shown that there are ways in which you can also get these disease   First and foremost Dirty Environment the harmful bacterias,viruses,fungi&micro-organisms can enfusiliate(come-together) to produce toxins which cause these growths they first start as skin irritation then evolve into cysts and from there tumors and finally mestasizing into full blown cancer and it occurs sometimes under a month!!! depending on how bad the state of the environment is Secondly asbestos and other roofing sheets for people working or living around these areas there is a high probability ratio of u contaminating yourself too the corrosive and toxic substances of asbestos and it is wise to take a leave regularly from your area and clean boil and disinfect your household too also buying food from outside like restaurants far from the area in quote this reduces the chances of the toxins by contact and try using detoxifying a.c brands to clean the air in your household Thirdly eating halfcooked,not properly prepared or contaminated foods exposed foods is a high risk of getting this one must ensure that these foods be boiled thoroughly to remove these harmful toxins like sodium bicarythorycinate cyannides of pottasium arsenic powder and lots more even hydrochloric sediments are part of these toxins Fourthly keeping bottled water in the car and most working types are guilty of these they buy water to drink and then leave them in the car on a hot and sunny day the temperature of the car reaches about 80 degree celsius that is almost the boiling point and these plastics are made from resins polymers and esters and chlorides of complex organic structures and tend to have a weak bond chain and by the introduction of heat they break away leaving residues in these water that are unknowingly consumed when they are thirsty that is why the water tastes differently when it is hot it is advisable to throw away these water once consumed at the instance to safegaurd your health and not only drinks but to other foods in plastic containers and even tin cans Lastly chemical contaminants for industrial types these people use very toxic corrosive harmful chemicals everyday and there is slight chance of inhaling and skin touching which increases the danger of contracting cancer that is why proper care has to be taken not to get any body part in contact with them and have good aerolizers to suck away harmful atmospheric conditions these things may or may not help but at least it will keep us aware of the dangers we face each day of our lives it is my prayer that none of you reading these will ever experience the painful agony cancer does to an individual amen! why must this trend continue? why must our football loving fans continue to suffer at the hands of folly? we have seen times without number the unseriuosness of our eagles its high time we do a complete makeover just look at yesterday's game you realize that only few peeps deserve to be in the team and we all know who they are the others can leave after everything they gave them the eagles are the star when it comes to giving high hopes its no wonder that after the rule of berti vogts the team lost any significance in the hearts of this nigerianst he thing that pains me most is the stupid administration in football that tend to have a lackisladal interest in the performance of these boys lets hope things change

DR'S QUARTERS THE LIFE OF A SHOPAHOLIC

hey just recently i thought about writing this column to help out people who have had problems of a funny kind now i bring to the gals this notice SPENDIN SPREE A.K.A SHOPPING!!! it is said that shopping is like breathing to the female kind and thats not a lie gals are so compulsive on clothes we guys when we go shop by the specifics shirt trousers shoes boxers singlet finito but for the ladies youre in 4 a treat they can on average spend 6 hours shoppin lookin 4 "what we'll make them look nice' geez how insane can that be and when it comes down to the basics its not the clothes but the fun in buyin them some sort of clothing therapy i mean what will make a normal female buy a cloth that she does not need with a tag that says waste in most relatinships especially these bachelorette types a lady uses her money on clothes when the guy questions her she throws up serious tantrums and accuses you of trying to ruin her individuality like a friend of mine lanre 30 an investment banker said my girlfriend has problems when it comes to accounting what she used her cash to do on clothes its as if she's brainwashed totally ive tried to no avail she getas seriously moody when i bring it up so i just drop it for good the truth is i dont care what she buys the only problem is how she buys now thats a case of shopaholism and thats not healthy for young independent women now its said women have more control over ther financial security than men but we have hope when it comes to clothes check any outgoing guys wardrobe all u can see are a few shirts at least 10 and trousees when u check a woman's own you get a shocker over 100 seriously that's alarming and then theres the worst thing after shopping a woman has an emotional bond to each clothe she buys and i mean it!! its called sartorial retention when she says she wants to throw away her clothes it boils down to lookin at them touchin them and stuffin them back where they came from its so funny and we men are to blame yes we always are the question is how can we stop them the answer is we cant we just go with the flow and hope (very futile) that they learn from their mistakes the clothing trend in women is evident so if she starts spending on clothes again start spendin on something she hates she'll get the point eventually.
