SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY: AIESEC A NEW BEGINNING

as we all know the southern part of nigeria has always been black listed as the militant base of the nation and that goes without refute the situatiion in the area has for long been shaky but if history is anything to go by then the people of niger delta have proven that no matter the odds thrown at them they have remained strong adamant free spirits volatile and yet creative members of the country the news we have been watching telling tales of the kidnapping spree going on has been nothing but a way to show you the bad image the country has recieved a big slap to the face was the shunned visit of the G12 meeting and the visit by the president of the united states and lately the boko haram saga this have armed critics with a never ending assault weapon but as a patroit one would wonder what thses men are doing to reedeem the image the answer is that they dont care they only care about themselves that is why AIESEC an international students organizatiion that has been existing since 60 years have decided to bring a new solution to these things by internship training and exchange services the group which has an arm the local committee in port-harcourt stries for peace using the core values of aiesec striving for excellence,demonstrating integrity, acting sustainably, activating leadership, living diversity this values help shape youths and children in the country by introducing the givers initiative this project will help a long way to get through the smoky waters of bureaucracy aiesec is in over 1900 universities worlwide in about 300 countries and has over 1500 alumni institutes and over 900 partners from top buisness and industrial conglomerates the sweetest thing about the organization is that it is solely run by students who empower themselves marketing ideasv and resources with our on-going project called project ask a hiv/aids programmme that helps to empower educate help and protect people from the dangers of the virus in a time of tumultous changes AIESEC has remained a brand name for students who are passionate about the problems they are facing so as the world closes its doors on us we are opening doors to the world a time by a time an intern from taiwan joy cheng chang she says her stay in nigeria has been a great one blending with the lifestyle and culture of the people the food and highlife this has captured her attention as well as her work she has decided that on her return she would make a bond with us and act as a referral and this shows u what we can do so let me tell you something whenever you feel you want to visit nigeria then holla the aiesec network where you can do something provided you are a bonafide member the truth is that aiesec moves forward with you so let us rebrand the name the southern nigeria land the home of aiesec one love one family one AIESEC where true hospitality has increased.....
